Mug Season

The Central Maine Clay artists along with participating coffee shops, offers mugs at reduced pricing in order to support local schools art departments. Coffee shops give away a cup of coffee and the artists offer their mugs at reduced prices as a way to give back to their local school communities. Proceeds from this event are then given to several local schools for their art department. This event occurs yearly in the month of April. See

Holiday Pottery Shop

-Presented by the Central Maine Clay Artists-

This show “pops-up” every year for 6 weeks from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve, usually in Hallowell.

Maine Pottery Tour

This tour, always the first week of May,  is celebrating its 7th year with 43 studios participating.   D.harwood Pottery will be one of the open studios-  Saturday May 2nd  from 10am-5pm and Sunday May 3rd, 2020 from 11am-4pm at 196D Main St. in Winthrop.  For more information go to  There you will find links to studios and an interactive map to plan your pottery road trip!
